‘Hello Brain’ is a European brain health awareness campaign, led by Trinity College Dublin, and funded by the European Commission under FP7 Health.
The Hello Brain Campaign is committed to improving the health of European citizens with a specific focus on brain health. Hello Brain provides empirically grounded information about the brain and offers top tips on how to be proactive about brain health (see www.hellobrain.eu). The Hello Brain Challenge is a call to action asking members of the general public to do one thing everyday that is good for their brain.
The campaign was launched on September 22nd in Dublin, since then over 5000 people have downloaded the app. This week the medical journal The Lancet Neurology gave the app a very positive review (doi:10.1016/S1474-4422(14)70235-2)
This week the Hello Brain Health App was also reviewed aand approved by the NHS and has now been added to the NHS Choices App Library http://apps.nhs.uk/?s=Hello+Brain+Health&submit=Search
The Hello Brain website and the free Hello BRain Health app are available in English, French and German.
